A Kenyatta University student killed himself over love gone sour.
The 26- year-old varsity student in Bomet County was married with a two-year-old son and said he had decided to end his life over marital wrangles.
Interestingly, the late comrade had written a book to document all the troubles.
Area chief Edward Barusei confirmed the incident.“He said his wife has been disturbing him so much and had reached the elastic limit. He left a suicide note telling his plight,” Barusei said.
The suicide note left urged his family to take care of the two-year-old child.
The incident left neighbours shocked over the drastic measure.
Chief Barusei said university students should be role models in the society instead of becoming culprits.
“University students should take their role of being the mirror in the society. Other people should look at them even during difficult times because they are more knowledgeable,” the chief said.
