The Commission Western Regional Boss Ignatius Wekesa confirmed that there was an investigation being carried out by the commission and some of the MCAs and that's why were summoned.

The MCAs are set to start appearing before the commission on Wednesday this week.

On Tuesday last week, some of the MCAs were up in arms against their counterparts in a bid to stop the swearing-in process.

Ogaga replaced Kolwa East MCA Stephen Owiti who 10 members of the committee signed a petition to have him removed according to Speaker Onyango Oloo.

The assembly session was interrupted severally forcing the Speaker to suspend the house proceedings for a while to restore order.

Oloo then later presided over the swearing-in of Ogaga and cautioned the MCAs to be civil in their debates while in the House.

However, on his part, the outgoing Chairman of the committee Steve Owiti termed the changes inconsequential noting that it was not done procedurally. Owiti said the committee members ought to have given him a hearing before starting a process of removing him.
