Haji is now accused of doing little to deliver justice to ailing Idris Mukhtar who is still in ICU at the Nairobi Hospital.

In a move to compel the DPP to conclude prosecutions, controversial blogger Robert Alai dared Haji to produce the charge sheet against Ali Korane whose name has severally featured in the shooting incident.

In a tweet, Alai expressed worry that the case might have been handed over to clan elders as opposed to the legal courts.

"Where is the charge of Ali Korane @ODPP_KE or that one has been sorted by clans? Parklands DCIO knows the person who killed the Ali Korane attempted murder suspect while in custody. He knows it very well," Alai posted in his twitter handle.

Even as this unfolds, the CEC's immediate family has raised concern over their security and that of their kin Idris Mukhtar who is still admitted in ICU.

The case will now be a litmus test for the DPP in a case that a section of clan elders from Garissa county have expressed concern on 'selective justice' from the DPP's office.
