Renowned Political Science lecturer Prof Makau Mutua has announced plans to open a multi-million investment project in Machakos town.
Although he did not name the type of project he intends to open, the US-based don on Thursday made the announcement two days after he launched a multi-million hotel in Kitui County, an event that was graced by opposition chief Raila Odinga and his NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.
"Thanks Wavinya Ndeti for gracing the opening of the Kitui Villa on July 10. Machakos next," Prof Makau who has been a key critic of the Jubilee administration twitted.
On Tuesday, the academician graced the launch of his new hotel, Kitui Villa, in Kitui with a call to local residents to embrace business especially at a time both the national government and the private sector have no capacity to absorb all youth who leave universities and colleges into employment.
The Kitui event was also attended by Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua's arch-rival and former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti as well as governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Prof Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and other dignitaries who also included MPs from Ukambani region.
Machakos where he intends to open his next multi-million investment borders Nairobi which is the country's business centre.
