Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has hit out at Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia after their defeat to English Premier League side Everton on Tuesday.
‘Kogallo’ were thrashed 4-0 by ‘The Toffees’ in the match that was played at the Goodison Park in Liverpool, England.
In reaction, Amollo expressed his disappointment, bashing the Kenyan boys for their poor game.
He termed their performance as the worst ever, adding that they were too submissive in the match.
‘’Quite Disappointed in Gor.., the worst game ever! Given out too easily! And to think I was going to travel.., but for a Presentation in Harare!!...mmmhh,’’ Amollo wrote on his twitter wall after the clash.
Everton’s first goal came in the 16th minute, after both the defense and shot-stopper Boniface Oluoch failed to stop Ademola Lookman’s shot.
Kieran Dowell would double the lead in the 23rd minute, killing the hopes of Kogallo’s fans.
Nathan Broadhead and Oumar Niase’s late-minute strikes gave the Toffees their third and fourth goals respectively, after containing Gor’s attempts to get back in the game in the second half.
And though the team will return a disappointed lot, it will have gained some experience on international, and specifically English encounters.
