Speaking on Radio Maisha's Bunge La Maisha on Tuesday morning, the MP cited Raila's political history, arguing that he could be out on an expedition to destabilise the government.

He said that Raila's entry into the equation through his March 9, 2018 truce should be properly analysed, failure to which he will floor it the way he has done to several others before.

"We need to be very careful with Raila because his intentions are not good. He has a history of breaking parties since 2002. We will ensure that he does not break Jubilee," he said.

He challenged the former Prime Minister to prove his statement that he has good intentions and has nothing to do with the widening gaps being witnessed in Jubilee.

He said that Raila can only do this by recounting his initial rejection of President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election and declaring him the constitutional president.

"If he is genuine then let him come out and accept that Uhuru was elected the president in 2017," said the MP.

Raila rejected the results which declared Uhuru the winner, before boycotting the October 26, 2017 rerun after the first one was annulled.
