The 44-year-old Ng'eno married his love Nayianoi Ntutu at the Emurrua Dikkir Primary School in Narok county.

Congratulating the newly weds, Ruto indirectly jibed at the lawmaker, saying that he is now expecting him to settle after finally getting officially married.

"I happy for his wedding and for you because I know that you will now settle down," said Ruto, amid laughter and cheers.

He further called upon the lawmaker to now concentrate on service delivery, urging him to reach out to his rivals in the previous August 8 general polls.

"Now you should consider reconciling with your former rivals and competitors and collaborate with them for the benefit of Kenyans," he added.

Also present was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who also congratulated Ng'eno and his wife for doing away with bachelorhood.

He, however, took issue with Ruto's initial claims that Jubilee won in the elections, noting that Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta ran a lone race and cannot claim to have beaten anyone.

Ruto had on Friday urged Raila and his team to accept the result of the poll.
