Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has hit back to KANU grassroots elders who on Tuesday expressed reservation against a section of Jubilee legislators who had dragged the retired president Daniel Moi's name to farmers’ misfortunes.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Sudi, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto claimed that Baringo Senator Gideon Moi was misusing his authority in media to taint the name of the DP.

“Gideon is known to use his influence in the media he co-owns like KTN, The Standard Newspaper and others to polarise politics in Rift Valley region by maligning the Deputy President. He should cease employing his ill-advised tactics of using his media house that enjoys the national coverage. Failure to do so may call for a resistance of all products from the Media Group,” part of the post reads.

Sudi further claimed that Senator Moi hires political brokers in his bandwagon to meddle propaganda and malicious information orchestrated to tarnish DP's name in a bid to block him from ascending into the coveted office in 2022.

The sentiments follow a media briefing by a section of KANU leaders on Tuesday aired live in a national television who told DP Ruto allies to keep off Mzee Moi and stop linking him to farmers woes.
