For months now, Nyagarama has been unhappy with the assembly over itemised budget which was unanimously passed by the assembly.

In the meeting, ousting of Mr Teya and Majority Leader Duke Masira was widely discussed, a move that could further stagnate development in the county.

"I can assure you governor has nothing to do with Teya ouster but the crisis in the assembly will be messy in coming weeks.

"Scandals will be unearthed, some nominated MCAs could be kicked out and Majority Leader Duke Masira will be impeached," a top communication officer said about Thursday's impromptu meeting.

According to him, the crisis was escalated by unending differences between Teya and his estranged deputy Duke Omoti, who was impeached in August.

But insiders say the governor is unhappy with the speaker's decision to strip off executive powers to decide development for the people through the itemised budget.

In a brief chat with the speaker, he said that 'I am equally shocked with the latest development but God will see us through'.

Magwagwa MCA Fred Omayio is said to have already crafted the impeachment motion as the governor mobilised ODM MCAs to back the move.
