A lot of Kenyans are always filled with expectation when the former President visits his motherland.

Maseno students were not left out of the picture. Here are some of their comments regarding Obama's visit:

@Benard Onyango: Barack Obama is always patriotic to this country though he isn't a citizen of this country. If he could be the president of Kenya, we could be at the same level with USA now.

@Grenard Mbakaya: Kenya would be a more better country with a president like Barack Obama. He is always supporting the lowly regarded in the society and bringing their importance too in the society.

@Eliud Mwanambe: Men of such pure heart like Barack Obama are nowadays rare to find. God bless you Obama.

@Samson Kimaiga: Let him establish a research laboratory in Maseno, a varsity close to his ancestral home. By this we will always be grateful of him.

@Eugine Kipruto: The Potus has a great admiration for education. He believes in empowering youths to achieve academic excellence.Let him help us too in Maseno.

@Edimond Ojwang: In 2015, he payed a visit to Kenyatta University, let him also visit us one time so as to acknowledge our University.

@Wcyliff Wanaina: I like the Obamas, they believe in youth empowerment, how I wish some of our politicians could be like them.
