Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri now says that the Jubilee Party brigade is closely watching movements by the opposition block led by former Premier Raila Odinga.
This comes at a time when Siaya Senator James Orengo has found himself under fire, after recently hinting at initiating an impeachment motion against Deputy President William Ruto.
In a press conference in Nakuru on Wednesday, Ngunjiri who is a staunch supporter of the DP said that himself and his colleagues will not allow any such plan to succeed.
He termed it one of the plans by the opposition to fight the DP with an aim of elevating Odinga to the presidency, but pointed out that they will not make any success.
"Sasa tunamwona Orengo eti anataka kuimpeach Ruto. (We have seen Orengo announce plans to impeach Ruto). But they should know they will not penetrate Jubilee," he warned.
He also bashed Orengo, Raila and the remaining team for being too vocal about Jubilee matters, especially the said emergence of factions within the once invincible block.
He urged them to keep off the party's matters and is read concentrate on their Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
"Orengo and others should concentrate on ODM matters and leave Jubilee alone," added the firebrand MP.
However, speaking on Citizen TV Tuesday evening, Orengo said that he was simply giving Kenyans opposed to the DP alternatives to outsing him, and doesn't have any plans to have him impeached.
