A police officer in Kerina Police station is in hot soup after he impregnated a minor who was studying in Kerina Primary school in Kisii county, after the area, MP Oroo Oyioka declared to follow up the matter to get the police officer judged.
Oyioka made the vows in a meeting he attended as the guest of honour in Kerina Primary School on Wednesday. The Mp was so angry at the parents of the young girl whose future was being spoilt by the police officer. He condemned the parents for receiving money from the police officer locally which made them end the matter prematurely.
"There are policemen who have impregnated our girls here. This is a very serious issue and the worst thing I heard today, the parents of the girl who had been impregnated recently by a policeman, talked with officer locally and resolved the matter. This is a Kenyan child whose rights are being breached," Oyioka said.
"I Want to make a follow up because the child is there and the policeman is still here. We cannot agree with the fact that, being the school is situated where the policemen stay, they should take advantage and spoil our children," he added.
