Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries CeC Davies Mwangoma confirmed that approximately 100 exhibitors will showcase their products.

He said this is a platform for the farmers to learn new skills, expand customer base and network.

"Education never ceases, we urge farmers to come out in large numbers to learn the new Agricultural techniques that can improve their agricultural produce and improve their living standards. The learning will be free," Mwangoma said.

He added that the success of the show will give a gateway to officially hold annual events supported by the Agricultural Society of Kenya as Taita Taveta County aims to be named the 18th branch of ASK.

The Agricultural show Chairman Martin Oyindo mentioned that apart from enhancement of extension services and fun fare on the sidelines, the best farmers will be rewarded.

According to Samuel Mweu, Taita Taveta County has bagged more than 400 trophies at Mombasa and Nairobi ASK exhibitions since 1983 and voted as the best overall.
