Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has claimed that Kirinyaga governor Anne has no moral authority to lecture Kenyans on matters of corruption.
According to the vocal lawmaker, it is in the public domain that she is one of the most corrupt people in Kenya.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday night, Sudi alleged that Waiguru's name had become popular in the country courtesy of graft charges leveled against her.
"Anne Waiguru has no moral authority to lecture us on matters of corruption. Every Kenyan knows that corruption will be incomplete without Waiguru's name appearing as one of the culprits," read the post.
However, while appearing on Citizen TV Live the same night Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru said that there was neither small nor big corruption case.
Waiguru further opined that the DCI and DPP had instilled confidence in the public in the fight against graft as shown by indiscriminate arrest and prosecution of high profile individuals in government.
"The DPP and the DCI, the actions they have been taking in a couple of years...it instills some sense of confidence in Kenyans and the world at large that we are serious about a problem that we face as a society," Waiguru said.
