The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has been asked not to fear death in the war on corruption.
A Jubilee politician said Mr. Haji should save Kenyans from the hands of corrupt leaders who are after embezzling public funds.
"I am happy the DPP since he took the oath of office has intensified the war on graft. He should not fear death threats by selfish leaders. Let him stand firm and ensure he is prosecuting corrupt government officers and politicians accumulating wealth through dubious dealings," said the immediate former Bonchari MP John Opore on Saturday at Suneka market.
According to Mr. Opore, throughout DPP Haji's tenure, corrupt individuals will not find peace.
He said President Uhuru Kenyatta's office must support the DPP's office to ensure corrupt state officers are apprehended.
Opore who lost his MP seat during the last year's polls on a Jubilee ticket reiterated that corruption is an enemy to development and should not be condoned.
"We have seen public funds getting lost in the hands of state officers instead the money could be used to fund various projects across the country. The office of the DPP must not rest until all corrupt state officers are nabbed," he added.
