As the fight between Dp Ruto and former prime minister Raila Odinga gets hot, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has chipped in, appearing to be advising them.

According to a post in Kuria's official Facebook page, exchange of words by these leaders is worrying

The lawmaker earlier publicly announced will appear in the presidential ballot in 2022. 

He, therefore, believes the two (Ruto and Raila) might be his potential competitors. Addressing them, Kuria noted that the duo ought to realise that Kenya needs peace.

"This is very worrying especially given they have a sizeable following and are likely Presidential candidates in the future. I urge my worthy competitors to exercise utmost restraint and take cognizance of the fact that we need maximum peace and tranquillity as we tackle the dire economic situation that our people are suffering from," reads parts of his post.

The vocal MP moreover asked his presidential bid supporters to stay away from the fight hoping they won't be tempted to be involved in the spat.

Recently, DP Ruto and Raila exchanged bitter words in public over graft-related issues.

Raila on Saturday claimed that a Bishop rejected a gift from Ruto. He said this was because the car was acquired by looted money. 

Dp Ruto dismissed this by saying the car was bought by Catholic Christian Members of Parliament.
