Activist Okiya Omtatah has received financial backing from the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition, United Kingdom chapter.

Omtatah received the cash on Saturday which is meant to help him pursue more justice for Kenyans.

According to the activist, the UK chapter has raised up to Sh400, 000 meant to help him penetrate the corridors of justice as he pursues cases of public interest.

His latest case is on the 8% VAT on petroleum products passed by parliament.

NASA-UK Chair Kivindyo Ndivo said the activist is a man who pursues cases of public interest and therefore it is advisable that he receives financial backing to help him seek more justice.
