In what seems to be a routine now, ODM leader Raila Odinga, a once fiercest critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta, visited State House on Wednesday night for dinner.
Hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Raila arrived in the company of Ida Odinga.
President Uhuru had invited Raila and Deputy President William Ruto to share with Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi.
"The AU's infrastructure Supremo H.E. Raila Odinga together with Mama Ida Odinga joined President Uhuru in hosting Mozambique's President Filipe Nyusi and his wife, first lady, Isaura Nyusi, for a State Banquet at State House last night," wrote one of Raila's side, Philip Nyamai.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1893421284112226&id=100003331191731.
During the visit, President Nyusi agreed to waiver Visa framework, an important step towards boosting business and trade between the two nations.
In June, Uhuru and Margaret Kenyatta visited Maputo where they were honoured in the similar manner by their hosts.

Since March 9th, Raila, who was recently appointed to AU as special envoy for infrastructure, has become a regular visitor to State House with the latest coming in September when Theresa May visited.
Also, Uhuru hosted Raila in Kakamega State Lounge on October 20th during Mashujaa Day celebrations at Bukhungu stadium.
