A section of women from Kisii county have appealed to the DCI to grill Deputy President William Ruto over the dam construction scandal.
The woman led by Kisii former mayor Clare Omanga and Norah Nyamwamu claimed that DP Ruto should be grilled to tell Kenyans what he knows about the lost billions.
"No one is above the law and we are urging DCI not to spare DP Ruto. Let him be questioned and tell Kenyans what he knows about the lost billions in the dam construction. He seems to have diverted the money to his pocket," said Nyamwamu.
She urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack DP Ruto who is working hard to derail his Big 4 Agenda.
"It is shameful that Ruto's name is always a topic when it comes to corruption. It shows that Ruto can't be trusted anymore. Uhuru should consider sacking him," she noted.
On her part, Ms Omanga said Ruto's remarks that only Sh7 billion lost in the dams scandal should be investigated.
"Kenyans are suffering while few individuals are pocketing the money. It is high time the DCI should probe DP Ruto," she noted.
