Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has appealed to ministers serving in his administration to get back to work in a bid to offer quality services to the electorate.
The county boss while speaking on Tuesday in Nyamira challenged chief ministers to stop spending most of their time in the office "doing nothing".
"Chief ministers should go to deep villages to supervise the projects and not idling in offices without doing anything to improve the lives of the people," he stated.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party allied governor further pleaded with the CeCs to ensure they are working closely with county assembly members while discharging their duties.
"The chief minister must go to the deep villages accompanied by MCAs in the respective wards so that they can share on the projects to be given priority. I don't wish to continue leading a government where chief ministers are lazy and don't work hand in hand with MCAs to boost development," said Nyagarama.
He assured that he is committed to leaving a development legacy once he completes his second and final term in 2022.
