At least two places in Machakos County have this name, meaning a place where eyelashes are peeled.

3. Mavindini 

Found in Mbooni constituency of Makueni County meaning a place of bones.

The mystery is, do bones belong to people or animals, who knows?

4.  Masokani

A place in Makueni meaning a place with snakes.

The place is said to have had many snakes sometime back, the reason why it was named so.

However, people still get chills when the place is mentioned though the snakes are not many.
