A pastor dressed in rags rode from Kisii to Nairobi in search of a job on an old bicycle, it has been established.
Pastor John Otayo, a trained driver, seemed weak but excited when he first landed in the capital on Friday, greeting curious onlookers along the streets.
Though it did not immediately reveal the exact number of days or months he used from Kisii to Nairobi, a distance of over 500 kilometres, blogger Olivia Moraira alias Kabz Nyar Kisii says she saw him on the way.
"I have been to and from Kisii for a couple of days and I can confirm I saw him using Kisii-Narok-Nairobi route," she observed.
To appeal for him, she added: "Pastor John Otayo from Kisii County is looking for a job, he's a driver by qualification, he has travelled from Kisii to Nairobi to seek greener pasture. His No is 0722851343."https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156430875855412&id=701090411.
According to Olivia, the pastor had been working independently in both Kisii and Nyamira Counties before he decided to give a try in the city.
For the better part of Friday, Pastor John Otayo spent time in Afya Centre where Transline Classic vehicles that operate from Kisii and Nyamira are stationed.
