The man from Garissa County has won the hearts of millions of Kenyans on the speed he is taking to present graft suspects in court.

Mr Hajji took over the office in April amid exposes of many graft scandals that threatened to pull down the Jubilee administration.

Graft had been cited as a disaster that could taint President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy as he retires in 2022.

The president has since put in place measures to fight the vice, saying that no one will be spared.

According to political analyst Peter Ngure, DPP Haji is the only person who will help President Kenyatta leave a good legacy in 2022.

Ngure says that Haji is a no-nonsense person and will not entertain corruption.

“The president picked the right man who now holds key to his good legacy in 2022,” he said.

Ngure states that DPP Haji cannot be compromised and that corruption cartels have been sweating and crying since Haji took office.

Marion  Nyokabi, a social governance expert says that Uhuru got it right by picking DPP Haji.

“He (Haji) is a polite guy but lethal when it comes to fighting corruption, terrorism, and organized crime,” she said on Friday.

DPP Haji says that he is fearless and will go for both the small fish, big fish and even the whales in the fight against graft.
