Residents of Marani area are shocked after a boda boda operator was busted in the act with a pastor’s wife behind a shop on Monday evening at around 8.00 pm.
The shopkeeper Gladys Mose thought they were thieves who wanted to break into her shop until she saw the struggle at the verandah.
When people started crowding at the area, the Boda boda operator who had parked his motorcycle close to the premise, fled leaving his bike.
“I walked out through the back door towards the latrine, where I found people struggling on the verandah. I thought they were robbers who wanted to break into the house through the back wall as the area was dimly lit.” The shopkeeper said.
Too ashamed to run away, the woman who is also a pastor’s wife was given a thorough beating by the people.
She was literally crying when the area Chief Mr Geofrey Monda arrived and asked the crowd to stop beating her.
“It is too shameful for the pastor’s wife to be a bad example to the society," The chief said.
The boda boda operator’s motorcycle was taken to the chief’s camp waiting for the owner.
