According to the locals, the deceased was a form three student at Sameta mixed school.

“My daughter normally arrives from school about 5:30 pm and on Monday she didn't so we called her friends who all said they were not aware of her whereabouts so we reported the matter to the police,” said Ruth Onsarigo the mother to the deceased.

Onsarigo further said she received news from her neighbor on Wednesday morning to go check a body that had been found in a nearby bush and on arrival on the scene she found it was her daughter.

Confirming the incident area chief Henry Mirera said the body was seen by two middle-aged men who were ploughing a nearby shamba.

“We are shocked that a school girl was killed by some gang who also took away some of her body parts," said Mirera

The body remains were taken to Kisii Level six morgue.
