Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Gor Mahia striker Dennis Oliech is in stable condition after picking an injury as his team faced Western Stima at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, on Sunday afternoon.

However, the former Harambee Stars captain will be out of football action for six weeks or more. That means he may not feature for his team, for the remaining part of the season. 

In an interview with the club's official website, Gor Mahia Team Manager Jolawi Obondo, noted that an x-ray report confirmed a fracture.

“Dennis got a fracture on one of his arms and might be out of action for some time," he said. 

The striker picked the injury as he tried to head the ball alongside a Western Stima player.

Oliech's injury elicited a lot of reactions, with most users wishing him quick recovery.

The veteran footballer has been instrumental to Gor Mahia this season.
