Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto will coordinate Deputy President William Ruto's Rift Valley campaigns, it has emerged.
At Siongiroi Girls High School on Sunday, the DP asked Mr Ruto to reach out to those 'spreading propaganda' and put them in same house.
"Unajua Mimi lazima nizunguke kwote. Lakini sasa nikiwa na Isaac, yeye ataangalia mambo ya nyumbani. Kwanza nataka aanzie hao visirani."
It loosely translates to: " I will be committed elsewhere most of the times but with Isaac around, he will handle serious issues back at home. In fact I want him to start with rebels."
For weeks now, the DP has struggled to contain storm from his former allies led by MPs Alfred Keter, Joshua Kutuny and Silas Tiren.
The three MPs have dragged Ruto's name to the thorny maize farming stalemate, arguing that it's orchastrated by his office.
"They will make noise but we shall continue working for people. It's strange that they accusing me without tangible facts," he said.
Isaac Ruto is expected to join cabinet with DP Ruto said to be convinced that he will help him tame rebels from the vast Rift Valley.
