Veteran radio presenter Fred Obachi Machoka has invited President Uhuru Kenyatta for a 'nyama choma‘ feast in Kajiado County when he attends this year's Madaraka day celebrations to be held on Saturday 1st June.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank president Uhuru Kenyatta for choosing Kajiado county to be the host of the 2019 Madaraka day celebrations, as residents of Kajiado, we are extremely grateful to the President”, said the joyous Machoka.
He was speaking live on Citizen Radio during his popular weekend show ‘Roga Roga’ on Sunday afternoon.
Machoka also praised the president’s stopovers in Kajiado County on his way back from Arusha on Saturday.
“That was a clear indication that our president loves our people and always has a desire of getting on the ground and obtain a taste of what kind of life the people are living, that was a wonderful thing and we look forward to similar trips across the 47counties”, he added.
Machoka went ahead to appeal to the president to accept his offer of having ‘nyama choma ‘at his ranch in Kajiado county after the Madaraka day celebrations.
“I own a beautiful ranch and resort called Fred’s Ranch - Isinya, Kitengela, Kajiado and I believe it is the perfect place for the president to come and have lunch together with other government officials after the Madaraka day celebrations.
"I know the president will not turn down my invitation because I am sure no one else has invited him and am the first one to give him the invitation so am eagerly waiting for his response”, the jovial Machoka said as he winded up the ‘Rogaroga’ show.
