A man has sued Beta Healthcare and Kenya Bureaus of Standards over a condom that burst during during intercourse.

According to the man, he used Zoom condom that let burst exposing him to STIs something that resulted to separation with his wife.

In his petition, he says that when he bought the condoms, he believed they would please his partner and  protect him.

"That I was fully aware of the dangers of having unprotected sex and decided to use my favorite brand of condoms being the Zoom scented chocolate flavoured studded condoms which I believed would please the woman and protect me fully," he said.

He claims that he contracted STI as a result of using the condoms.

"..that whilst I was having sexual intercourse with the woman the said condom broke a fact which I only realised after the act. That at the time, I brushed the incident as a non-issue and three days later I still had sexual intercourse with my wife," he said.

He has expressed fears that he might have been exposed to HIV.

The man also fears that he has been exposed to the HIV virus.

He accused BETA, KeBS and KRA allowed a consignment of ZOOM condoms which of questionable quality to be sold to unsuspecting Kenyans.
