Speaking on Saturday, the MP said that his opposition side has cleverly pushed Jubilee into revealing its own wrongdoings, and is succeeding at that.

He termed this as the reason behind the continuation of the revelation of scandals, despite the silence being witnessed on the side of opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The MP added that the opposition's truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta in early last year has made the government comfortable and willing to expose itself.

"We remain in the opposition, the only thing that has changed is the strategy we are using to put the government in check. We have given it the comfort it needs, and it is responding by fighting itself and exposing its bad deeds," he said.

Kaluma was speaking on Radio Nam Lolwe on Saturday morning.

The MP also claimed that some of the latest scandals are not new, but are only coming out at this time as a result of the peace being seen between the two sides.

"Most of what is being said now is not recent, some date to years back but are only coming out now thanks to Raila's peace with the ruling side," he added.

He also called upon Kenyans to support the handshake, terming it the only way Kenyans can redeem themselves and save themselves from runaway corruption.
