The journey of a notorious criminal in Naivasha came to an abrupt end after residents said ‘enough is enough’.
The jailbird was attacked by Karai residents after he reportedly stabbed to death his lover’s 5-year-old son on Saturday.
The man is said to have gone berserk and stabbed the young boy to death after he quarreled with the lover.
Angry neighbours who said ‘we have had enough of him’ pounced on him and lynched him.
He was living with the lover and her children after the woman divorced her husband.
The 5-year-old’s aunt said her sister was in a ‘come we stay’ relationship with the criminal.“She was living with him after he divorced her husband.
She was later to know he was a criminal and had even stabbed his wife,” the aunt said.
The aunt said the man had just been released from prison and was angry that the lover was communication with her estranged husband.
“He became violet that my sister was receiving calls from the father of her children,” the aunt added.
The two bodies were to Naivasha sub-county hospital.
Naivasha OCPD Samwel Waweru said investigations into the incident were ongoing.
