A Kisii County Jubilee youth leader has confirmed that preparations are at the top gear to welcome DP William Ruto who is expected to preside over a fund drive in aid of Amabuko and Kiamirega Catholic churches in Ichuni Parish on Friday, October 19, 2018.

According to Isaac Motari, the Kisii County Jubilee secretary general, DP Ruto is most welcome to the region which is perceived to be a stronghold for opposition coalition, NASA. 

"We are happy with DP Ruto's return to Gusii region for preside over the fund drive to help Amabuko and Kiamirega Catholic churches. Preparations are ongoing well to give the DP a warm reception," he said. 

He said DP Ruto's return to the region should not be politicized.  

"Ruto is a national leader who should visit any corner of this country. This is not time for politics for politicians to continue engaging in divisive politics meant to divide Kenyans along tribal lines," he stated. 

The youth leader reiterated that DP Ruto will be the next President and warned NASA leader Raila Odinga against his efforts to make Jubilee collapse.
