There was drama at Christian Far Vision church in Nakuru East's Githima Estate on Monday, after two brothers stormed the church while apparently being obsessed by evil spirits.
The two, Dominic and Augustine, reportedly stripped naked near the church gate and proceeded in and locked themselves in the toilet for some time as a crowd gathered.
They then left for the main church, speaking languages no one could understand, a witness said.
"The gate was not closed. They briefly stopped there and one of them removed his shirt and trousers. I got curious and stopped to watch. Minutes later, the other man undressed too and locked themselves in a toilet," Elvis Ochieng' was quoted by the Standard.
The church Elder Joseph Muniu said that the two are not new at the church, and Dominic had been attending it before going missing three months ago.
He, however, came back on Sunday, attended the service and later began destroying things, before his brother was called to take him to the Nakuru Referral Hospital for a mental checkup.
"He started breaking chairs and throwing items in the church as we spoke to him. We immediately called his brother to take him to hospital after prayers," Muniu was quoted by the Standard.
But on Monday, they came back, both mentally troubled this time.
Dominic had reportedly revealed to the church elder that their father had been trying to introduce them to sorcery, and even showed him scars in his stomach, made for the purpose.
The two who had injuries in their hands and faces were later forced by a group of men to put on their trousers were prayed for by a group of pastors from the church and neighbouring ones.
