The much hyped homecoming of millionaire businessman Don Bosco Gichana could after all disorganise itinerary of high profile politicians who could attend.

Mr. Bosco was released from Tanzania prison a month ago after five years where he was detained for money laundering and fraud.

And having pleaded guilty for his release, Mr. Bosco is expected to hold rallies at Keroka and Gusii stadium on Friday, an event that has elicited mixed reactions from both Kisii and Nyamira Counties.

But the burial of former KANU powerful assistant minister Nyarangi Moturi could disrupt Bosco's homecoming given than many politicians are set to attend his burial.

The former energy minister, who died a fortnight ago, will be buried at Matutu settlement scheme in Nyamira, an event which many politicians have confirmed attendance.

"Many of them have confirmed attendance given Nyarang'i wide connection in the political arena for over years.

"We had to confirm for proper preparations. Already Governor John Nyagarama has confirmed that he will be in charge," said Job Nyasimi, the lead organiser.

In an interview, Bosco revealed that Gusii politicians snubbed him while in jail, but vowed to use the event to send a political signal.

Those who have already confirmed their attendance included Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka, who recently met Bosco in Nairobi.
