The residents on Wednesday lamented that their livestock has been attacked by these hyenas thus counting losses day in day out.

Led by one Simon Kyuma, the residents told journalists that their goats and sheep are in danger of being attacked by these beasts.

On Tuesday night three goats belonging to one farmer were mauled by the hyenas.

"Hyenas have been disturbing us, attacking our animals every now and then, KWS should do something about the issue because we are really losing our livestock," said Kyuma.

He said that they are worried that the hyenas may attack their school going children.

He said that unless the KWS act son or the residents will be forced to act on their own and kill these animals.

" If they continue attacking our livestock and KWS is silent then we will have no option but take the matter into our own hand," he said.

He disclosed that they had conducted KWS on the issue and were waiting for its action.
