North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has defended Deputy President William Ruto against corruption allegations.
Mr Nyamoko said DP Ruto has a clean heart thus his a donations to churches should not be questioned by politicians.
The Jubilee allied MP described DP Ruto as a clean person who is focused and development oriented.
"I wish to dismiss the claims that DP Ruto is corrupt. When a leader donates money to church it doesn't mean he is corrupt. DP Ruto only donates to church with a kind heart," said Nyamoko.
The MP who is serving a first term in office, reiterated that the war on corruption should continue, adding that DP Ruto rivals should not take advantage of the graft war to link to link him to scandals.
Nyamoko challenged politicians opposed to DP Ruto's presidential bid to keep off, arguing that Kenyans will decide who to elect as their next president.
"No one will decide for Kenyans on who they should elect. Let every leader sell his or her agenda to the people," he stated.
He was speaking on Sunday at Rangenyo Parish in Nyamira County.
