Kisii police commander Martin Kibet has fired warning shots at adults fond of assaulting minors.
Mr. Kibet said he will not condone people to violate the rights of children who are entitled to be protected by the law.
According to Kibet, Winnie Kwamboka a woman who was arrested for assaulting a minor will face the full force of the law to serve as an example to others.
"It is worrying that adults are turning against minors attacking and injuring them. I wish to reiterate that security officers won't tolerate parents and guardians to continue violating the rights of minors," he said.
