Muthama instead wants President Kenyatta to fully engage DP Ruto, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Amani National Congress (ANC) counterpart  Musalia Mudavadi as well as all leaders in running the government.

Speaking during a church service at AIC Katwanyaa in Machakos on Sunday, the former senator claimed that the president has only focused his political relationship with ODM party leader Raila Odinga and has ignored others.

He said for the country to move forward and achieve her development agenda, all leaders must be brought on board.

The vocal politician noted that DP Ruto and a section of politicians in Rift Valley are complaining of being sidelined by President Kenyatta noting that the handshake was supposed to involve all leaders and every Kenyan.

"I am even sure that Kalonzo, Mudavadi, Wetangula and others do not know what is going on between President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga," Muthama said.

"The President must agree with other leaders and stop running the government as two individuals," he added.

A section of politicians allied to DP Ruto has been complaining that he (Ruto) is being sidelined in running of the Jubilee government.

The politicians among them Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa further alleges that Raila Odinga is hiding behind the handshake to scuttle the Jubilee government.

Raila has on several occassions refuted claims of plotting to scuttle the ruling Jubilee party.

The former Prime Minister has insisted that his agenda is to unite Kenyans and help the government in the war against graft.

Similarly, President Kenyatta has dismissed claims that Raila is out to split the Jubilee government.
