Mr Kenneth, a one time chairman for defunct Kenya Football Federation  and Gatanga MP was seen boarding a plane from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday.

The two are expected to watch Tuesday's clash between KPL heavyweights Gor Mahia and EPL outfit Everton FC at Goodson Park.

Betting firm Sportpesa is sponsoring Gor Mahia's trip to Liverpool, the first ever by a Kenyan team in as many months.

Mr Odinga is the patron of the club and just like Kenneth, the duo rarely misses classic football matches.

After the historic handshake between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta in March, Kenneth is among many Mt Kenya leaders who have held a meeting with the former.

Political pundits predict a possible partnership between Odinga and Kenneth ahead of 2022 duel in which Raila is expected to feature.

After losing in Jubilee party primaries, Kenneth seemed to blame Deputy President William Ruto, accusing him of favouring Governor Mike Sonko.
