Nyamira County leaders have been told to re-organize themselves well so that they can host President Uhuru Kenyatta next time.
ODM leader Samuel Omwando said that the Head of State will be in Kisii on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 to commission development projects since there are no projects in Nyamira to be commissioned.
"I wish to urge Nyamira leaders to re-organize themselves well so that they can invite the President to commission projects. Let them stop being angry because Uhuru will tour Kisii on Wednesday," he said.
The former Kitutu Chache South MP hopeful argued that Nyamira leaders should consider joining Kisii leaders to welcome the Head of State.
The vocal politician allied to ODM party reiterated the need for Gusii leaders to unite so that they can push for development.
"Lack of unity in Nyamira County could be the reason there are no development projects ongoing. It is high time Nyamira leaders to copy from Kisii leaders so that they can host the President next time," he added.
He said Nyamira leaders have no valid reason to snub the Head of State on Wednesday in Kisii.
