Sonko says that Oshwal center is among buildings set for demolition.

He said that the center sits on riparian land and has to go down.

Speaking when he met owners of the center on Thursday, Sonko said that there is nothing that can be done to stop the demolition stating that they are working on executive orders.

"We respect your religion (Hindu) and all others and we are ready and willing to give you public land to build another center," he said.

The owners had pleaded with governor Sonko to spare the multi-billion shilling center.

Sonko said that there is no looking back and that every building set for demolition will come down.

Sonko gave the owners of the center time remove their property before it is demolished.
