The Luo Nyanza region is already preparing for the retirement of opposition leader and the region long-time political chief Raila Odinga.
The aging veteran politician is apparently on the tail end on matters politics, and will soon be forced out to old age and political dynamics.
His allies from the region are set for the worst as they will obviously start fighting on who is the best for the kingship slot, a battle that will see one win and the others rendered political laughing stocks.
While the fight will be on course, it is unrealistic to expect any development, meaning that some will end up being voted out by voters for poor services, worsening their condition.
At the same time, the winner will be expected to do what the Oginga family has not been able for close to 5 decades, lead the community to government, placing a super heavy burden and pressure on them.
Failure will see them again overthrown, meaning that the leaders will engage each other in unending supremacy battles, on who is the best and who is not.
This will give a good chance for outsider leaders to creep into the region and possibly make it their stronghold, subjecting area leaders to the treatment they have always subjected others to.
Through this, they will be laughed at and dominated as has been the case in Western Kenya and Coast which are currently largely allied to Raila.
