Like they say "security starts with you." Always be careful when in some regions in Nairobi. Among the dangerous places that are thug's haven, just to mention a few, include Kayole, Kariobangi North including Babadogo.
In case you visit these places, take caution and be on toes;
1. Kariadudu
The level of security in this place is dismal. Thugs are youths aged between 17-25 years. They are never afraid. They snatch somebody's property like a smartphone in the broad daylight.
The bitter truth is that even if you yell up for help, no one will come to your rescue. To make the story short, just refrain from using your smartphone while walking and never be absentminded.
2. Kasabuni
To the newbies, don't you dare use your smartphone when in this place. This region is characterised by slams. It is very populous with a number of criminals.
They know how to recognise a newbie and can easily make away with your property. No one can confront and question them because they have dominated the place.
3. Glucola
It is very dangerous at night. Whether you are male or female, they will extort you. Some even flog you if you don't have anything to offer. Every Nairobian should familiarize themselves with this place and exercise caution.
