While releasing results in Mombasa on Monday, Amina however said the exercise will take only once, a shift from the previous years where selection was done twice.

The exercise, she said, will kick off on Monday December 3rd and all candidates would have been placed and subsequently received letters by December 23rd.

At least one million candidates sat for the exams in which over 12,000 managed to score 400 marks and above. President Uhuru Kenyatta said all students will be successfully placed.

Form Ones are expected to report to their new stations from January 2nd 2019 when schools officially open for first term.

Meanwhile, Amina dismissed the idea of administering special exams for pregnant students, insisting parents have a sole role to play in monitoring their students.
