Gedi wants the lawyer to forward the names and evidence to relevant investigating agencies instead of making the claims in the media.

Speaking to journalists in Wajir Town on Monday, the Jubilee MP said that the allegations by Lawyer Abdullahi are very serious.

She stated that the allegations can only be investigated and action taken if the lawyer presents evidence to the relevant agencies.

"The bribery allegations are very grave and I ask my friend Ahmednassir to take the evidence to the relevant government agencies," she said.

Last week, lawyer Abdullahi claimed that some judges allegedly pocketed Sh50 Million to write their judgement in Governor Abdi’s favour.

The vocal lawyer promised to forward the names of the said Judges to Chief Justice (CJ) David Maraga.

The Supreme Court validated the election of Governor Abdi on grounds it was free and fair.

The verdict has, however, elicited sharp reactions and criticism from legal minds in the country.

On Saturday, Governor Abdi dismissed allegations of bribing  the judges to validate his election.

Abdi maintained that he won fairly in the August 8, 2017 gubernatorial election.
