Kajiado governor Ole Lenku during the weekend hosted Jubilee leaders and Burundi Vice President Gaston Shindimwo for a goat meat affair.
This happened on Saturday afternoon at Olooltepes in Kajiado County.
Among other dignitaries at the event was President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Kajiado Governor Ole Lenku among others.
A source close to the Kajiado Governor told this writer that the President and his deputy had purposed to be at the ceremony just after the East Africa Community summit.
"The leaders shared a meal as Uhuru was on his way back from the EAC summit in Arusha," the source disclosed to Hivisasa.
In some of the photos seen by Hivisasa, Governor Ole Lenku is clearly seen serving President Kenyatta with the roasted goat ribs. He receives the delicacy with a magical smile as the other guests join in the mood.
One of the photos shows the leaders in an inspection of the progress of the ongoing tarmacing of Isinya-Kiserian road.
Governor Ole Lenku shared brief details of the exercise through his Facebook page.

"We are thankful to the President and DP William Ruto for promising to fast-track the completion of the road network in the County, among other projects," stated Governor Ole Lenku.
This comes barely days after Uhuru Kenyatta warned leaders against early politics.
When Uhuru was heading to the East Africa Community summit in Arusha, he urged leaders to work for Kenyans who elected them solely for representation and service delivery.
