Jumwa has been on the committee's radar lately over her reckless remarks regarding the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led party.

The vocal leader who is in office on the ODM ticket has as well been associating herself with Deputy President William Ruto who is considered Raila's chief political nemesis.

The committee has since found her guilty of contravening the party's laws and proposed her expulsion, a move that could see her seat declared vacant, leading to a fresh poll.

The Lawyer Fred Athuok-led team is expected to meet Raila today and brief him on its findings, after which Odinga will be left with the final say on her fate.

"The disciplinary committee will meet the party leader this morning to hand over its report; they have basically recommended the expulsion of the rebels," wrote the Standard.

Also found guilty is Msambweni lawmaker Suleiman Dori who has as well declared that he will be part of Ruto's campaign team dubbed 'Tangatanga team', as he (Ruto) seeks to clinch the presidency in 2022.

Should Raila approve the expulsion, then the party's National Executive Council (NEC) will adopt the same and remove them from the party member roll.

The same could befall a pentagon of Homa Bay Members of County Assembly (MCA) accused of assaulting Speaker Elizabeth Ayoo in October, during her ouster.
