Speaking in his consistency on Saturday, Musau said that the wrangles being witnessed between the executive and the assembly are hurting the people of Machakos.

He observed that service delivery is being hindered by the stalemate.

"The deadlock between our MCAs and the governor should end. The two should reconcile for the sake of Machakos residents," said Musau.

He said that the leaders should put their political affiliations aside and embark on serving residents.

The MP even offered to mediate between parties to ensure that the wrangles end.

"It's time to work for our people, not politicking, I'm even willing to lead the mediation between the two parties so that the stalemate will end and our people get the services they need," he noted.

Musau was speaking in Mbiuni where he had attended a burial ceremony.

This comes just two days after Machakos MCAs impeached Deputy Governor Francis Maliti from the Finance docket.
