With the diplomatic ties between Kenya and Somalia seemingly deteriorating, President Uhuru Kenyatta needs services and counsel of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who was the Minister of Trade and foreign affairs when Kenya and Somalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) over the oil blocks in the maritime.

While being interviewed on national television, the former foreign affairs minister stated that he feels sorry and bad when another country tries to infiltrate Kenya's territorial boundary.

The Ford Kenya party leader stated that the MoU he signed with his Somalia counterpart was intensively grounded both in law and in fact.

"The MOU that I signed as Kenya's foreign minister, then with the Somali counterpart, was well grounded both in law and in fact," stated the former minister.

Having such magnificent knowledge of the agreement, President Kenyatta should seek his advise and adhere to based on the fact that, Wetangula is a legal practitioner by profession and has all the implicit and requisite knowledge to step in and defend the country in the International Court of Justice(ICJ).

In order to unravel the 'mystery' behind Somalia's recent action, Kenya's head of state should employ both legal and diplomatic ways of resolving the matter amicably.
