Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti now says she has no problem burying her political differences with his longtime political rival Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Ndeti says Mutua and herself respect each other despite their political differences.
Addressing the press in Kathiani on Sunday, Ndeti said she has nothing personal against Mutua.
"We have great respect for each other and we can always work together on the issues facing Machakos people," Ndeti said.
Ndeti, however, said her respect for the governor does not mean that she is happy with how he has been running the county government.
The former MP maintained that Mutua has miserably failed on his mandate.
"The fact of the matter remains that Machakos people are yet to see the development they have been yearning for," she said.
Ndeti said she will continue agitating for development in Machakos.
Ndeti and Mutua are not seeing eye to eye politically and have in many cases engaged in ugly public spats.
In June, Court of Appeal nullified Governor Alfred Mutua's August 8, 2017's election on grounds that it was not free and fair.
Mutua has since appealed the ruling in the Supreme Court.
The appeal is pending hearing and determination.
